Associate Director / Director (Brussels / London / Dublin)

H/Advisors Cicero’s EU Public Affairs team is looking for an Associate Director/Director to work as a leading member of our EU Public Affairs client account teams, mainly focusing on digital policy issues.

The person will be responsible for multiple client accounts and managing account handling teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Key support to Managing Director of the EU Public Affairs team.
  • Taking an active role in developing and winning new business; playing a key role in pitches; identifying and converting prospective new business targets and marketing activity.
  • Providing senior strategic counsel to clients, taking full responsibility for managing your account handling teams and account delivery.
  • Developing and managing strategic and creative public affairs campaigns.
  • Developing junior members of staff (team of 7).
  • Helping to develop H/Advisors Cicero’s external presence and marketing.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 years experience in a consultancy role, European institution, trade association or equivalent organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of the EU digital policy landscape is essential, and fully competent to consult on related issues with clients and/or prospects.
  • Commercially knowledgeable with proven new business skills.
  • Experience of developing and executing complex strategic EU public affairs campaigns.
