Senior Account Manager – Public Affairs, Healthcare (Dublin / London)

As a rapidly expanding PR and public affairs consultancy, we are now looking to hire an ambitious Public Affairs EU Healthcare Account Director to oversee multiple client accounts in the healthcare sector and manage account handling teams.

The role will be in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment, helping our clients stay on top of the busy EU legislative landscape and to support on global healthcare public affairs accounts.

The role:

  • Playing a leading part in the development of a new global PA healthcare team within H/Advisors Cicero
  • Taking an active role in developing and winning global new business. Playing a key role in pitches, identifying, and converting prospective new business targets.
  • Leading accounts and managing your account handling teams and account delivery.
  • Developing and managing global strategic and creative public affairs campaigns (legislative and non-legislative)
  • Helping to grow the team and supporting junior member’s progress
  • Key support for the Director of the health public affairs team.
  • Helping to develop Cicero Group’s external healthcare presence and marketing.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in public affairs, preferably in agency but in-house also required.
  • A working knowledge of either or both UK/EU government institutions, with a focus on healthcare.
  • Knowledge and experience of the EU and or UK healthcare legislative and market access landscape.
  • Commercially knowledgeable with proven new business skills.
  • Expert knowledge of policy and legislative issues and fully competent to consult on them.
  • Experience of developing and executing complex strategic healthcare public affairs campaigns.

Salary

Competitive and dependent on experience.

Travel

Depending on where you are based, you will be required to travel to Brussels, Dublin, and London on an ad hoc basis.

Remote Working

You would begin your career with H/Advisors Cicero working remotely part-time and in the office two days a week. This is negotiable depending on the right candidates’ circumstances.
